Peanut Butter Banana Hearts

A delicious, healthy treat that combines peanut butter and banana for a taste your dog will love. You probably will, too!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana, mashed

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (unsweetened and xylitol-free)

  • 1/4 cup rolled oats

  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour for a gluten-free option)

  • 1/4 cup water (or more as needed)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Mash the banana in a bowl.

  3. Add the peanut butter and oats to the banana and stir well.

  4. Slowly add the flour and mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too thick, add a bit of water until it’s rollable.

  5. Roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thick and use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the treats.

  6. Place the cutouts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden and firm.

  8. Let the treats cool completely before serving.

Strawberry Yogurt Dog Treats

A refreshing treat that combines strawberries and yogurt—a healthy combo for your pup.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt (unsweetened and xylitol-free)

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped

  • 1/4 cup water

  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a blender or food processor, blend the yogurt, strawberries, and honey (if using) until smooth.

  2. Pour the mixture into heart-shaped silicone molds or ice cube trays.

  3. Freeze for 2-3 hours, or until solid.

  4. Pop out the frozen treats and serve as a special Valentine’s Day snack!
